This was project two of an assigned design exercise following my first-round interview for the Cincinnati Bengals UI/UX Designer position. The instructions emphasized that three wireframes of the app’s homepage be designed for the orange ticket section, black ticket section, and non-ticket holders on “Stripe the Jungle” gameday. 

Placement of sections and information priority were key in pursuit of making gameday navigation easy and accessible for all app users.




     My Goals:
easy accessibility to information on Bengals’ game days,
along with contrast, predictability, smoothness, consistency, clear language, simple navigation, open concept, excitement, round elements to make it more friendly.

My Design Explained:

In this version, I utilized a dark background to emphasize to fans what color they should be wearing. I began with all the information fans need to have a smooth gameday experience. Crucial information to know before the game was displayed first, such as the date, weather, and matchup. This was followed by information needed to enter the game, such as tickets and policies. Next, I included additional information about players, the game preview, and items available for purchase, from food to fan gear. Lastly, I added a “How to Watch” link and a final reminder to wear the correct color.

My Design Explained:

In this version, I utilized a white background to maintain a neutral setting. I began with all the information non-ticketed fans need to have a smooth app experience. Crucial information to know before the game was displayed first, such as where to watch the game, the game preview, and who is on the injury list. This was followed by a link to visit the Pro Shop to encourage fans to shop online. Lastly, all the information they need for their next gameday experience is displayed at the bottom.
