digital graphics
The goal of this project was to create five differently sized graphics to market gameday information about the Bengals’ “Stripe the Jungle” fan tradition. Use of the “Stripe the Jungle” logo, the date and time, the matchup, and the stadium map was also required.
Motifs Considered:
glow, graident, grain texture, organic shapes
My Goals:
multi-layered, high contrast, deep + rich colors, nuance, depth, layout balance
I utilized dark gradient lighting and the positioning of the helmets to highlight pivotal information, guiding the audience’s eye to the stadium map. This information is most crucial, as it tells fans which color shirts to wear on “Stripe the Jungle” gameday.
Additionally, I incorporated Bengals photography and an organic, three-dimensional stripe design (which mimicks the look of the stadium from field view) to “house” the map. This fostered a static, balanced layout in pursuit of making the content easy for the audience to digest. On top of ensuring effective design, I added a texture overlay for extra emphasis.
Additional Sizes
On top of effectively communicating the Bengals brand, I sought to deliver information to the fans clearly and creatively with hierarchy, contrast, and balance.
